What time will the band arrive?
We will usually arrive and set-up from 5:30pm onwards. For Weddings, this means we're ready to set up as soon as the wedding breakfast and speeches are finished. With corporate and charity events, we will always set up and sound check before guests arrive. If you require the band to set up earlier in the day, please include details on your enquiry so that we can quote accordingly.
How long does it take for the band to set up?
It takes roughly an hour for the band to set up and soundcheck. If there are stairs or lifts at the venue that need to be used in order to access the stage area then it may increase load in time.
How long will the band play for?
Our standard set times are 2 x 60 minutes or 3 x 40 minutes, depending on what will best suit your event.
How long are the intervals?
We request that intervals are a minimum of 15 minutes, but can be for longer if needed to suit your requirements on the day.
What time should the band start playing?
This is completely up to you and what works best with your schedule on the day. We usually recommend having the band start at around 8-9pm to get the most out of them. We also suggest serving the buffet either before the band goes on or when the band breaks between sets.
Does the band provide music when you're not performing?
Yes, we offer free playlists between sets and until midnight, or for a small fee we're happy to provide music via our DJ add-on service.
Will the band require a rider?
We request that the band is provided with soft drinks and a hot meal during the event. From the moment we leave the house mid-day to the final post-midnight pack down, we are 100% dedicated to seeing that your event is a complete success. Unfortunately this does not leave the band with any time to seek food elsewhere so it is much appreciated to be included in the event’s dinner service. We also request a clean and secure room for changing. If either of these requirements are not possible, please do let us know and we can make alternate arrangements to help accommodate.
Is the band PAT tested with adequate public liability insurance (PLI)?
Yes, if the venue requires a certificate, please get in touch and we'll forward you a copy.
Can I come and watch the band play live before I book?
We completely understand clients wanting to see the band perform prior to booking, but unfortunately the band don't play any public gigs. However, we do hope that the testimonials and reviews we have from our previous clients will give you peace of mind when booking. We pride ourselves on being professional and having a wealth of experience working at all types of events and will always be flexible and accommodating.
Does the band provide their own PA system / Lighting equipment?
Yes, we come fully equipped with a professional PA system and lighting equipment, so you needn't worry about supplying these.
Do we need to hire a raised stage?
No, a stage is not necessary, but a great addition to our performance if you decide to provide one.
How much space do you require?
We are very flexible when it comes to fitting our set up into venue spaces and we just about fit into any room or marquee. We usually recommend 5 metres in width and 3 metres in depth for larger rooms or wedding venues, but please do let us know what dimensions you're working with for further help.
What are the minimum power requirements?
At a minimum, we require 2 independent 13 amp sockets to set up. If your marquee company has requested further details, please advise that our PA system and lighting use approximately 3kw and that a single 16amp power supply would be sufficient.
How do I book?
If you've requested a quote and would like to go ahead with the booking, we'll need your full address and contact details along with the venue address. We'll then email over a contract with full terms and conditions included. This will then need to be signed and returned to confirm the booking. A deposit of approximately 20% will also be required, this is payable by BACS or Cheque. An invoice with payment details will be included with the contract.
